Hillsborough River

I am shooting an assignment for Where Guestbooks for the Tampa area. I went up and explored the Hillsborough River area 2 weekends ago and had a great time. There was a controlled burn to the east that gave us some smoke in the mornings, allowing for these great light rays as the sun rose. It was a beautiful area and really a good time to get away.

Not often I see forest images from Florida.
Myself, I love shooting in forests as well as grand landscapes etc.
This set has a continous flow of elements with a great mood, Paul.
I hope you will shoot more of these forests/rivers as they tell a story not often found on the internet.

    Very nice work.

The second image is my favorite. These are wonderful images that demonstrate your composition skills. It is not easy making art out of the chaos of a forest.

    Thanks Seung Kye,

I really enjoyed that place, it is beautiful. I love shooting forests, but they can be very tough. Having a river as a central element sure can help.

Thanks Ed, hope all is well with you. I really enjoyed getting these, glad the assignment forced me to make the drive. Definietly going to branch out more into Florida as time allows.
