Everglades in Bloom

Well we don’t get acres of wildflowers, but the Muhly Grass puts on a pretty nice show. I wanted to show the expanse of it so I got up on top of my Jeep and shot from there. The “puddle” you see is maybe 15 feet across, if that helps with perspective.

    Yes, the good times to visit the Everglades (November thru May) are here. And –as you have shown in your photos– the time of day helps a great deal.
